Acupuncture is a healing technique used as part of traditional Chinese medicine. Fine needles are introduced into the skin at certain points called “meridians” which are the centralized points of energy within our bodies. Acupuncture treatments are personalized per patient depending on what the problem. Acupuncture balances and allows our energy to flow in a more effective manner.

Until now acupuncture has been used to relieve certain body pains and aches, and to help the body gain enough energy to fight off certain diseases and many other problems. One of those other problems is wrinkles. In centers such as the M Spa in Los Angeles, the use of acupuncture is commonly used for facial lifting’s. After 10 o so sessions of specific lifting acupuncture treatments most women’s notice a tremendous difference in their skin without the side effects of a traditional plastic surgery.

This is just another example of how old technologies are now being used as new therapies and actually working well.
