You don’t have to get all twisted up like a pretzel to be able to practice yoga and you should practice yoga because the benefits are many. By practicing yoga and turning your body into positions you might think are a little strange you are helping to harmonize your bodily organs and fortify them, balance your nervous system and regenerate glands, but this is only what you don’t see.  What you feel and what you actually see in the mirror is amazing. The principles of yoga are simply: relaxation, breathing, the positions (called asanas), concentration and inner detachment.

Nowadays, there are many different types of yoga for every level, so you have no excuse.  All you need to do is pick the one the best suits you and off you go. The following are some of the most popular types of yoga: Hatha Yoga, the most popular because it is the easiest. Kundalini Yoga, the mother of yoga and the most powerful due to its use of energy and chacras. Raja Yoga, prolonged meditation, for those who need inner peace. Trantra Yoga, the father of yoga, the spiritual yoga. Siddha Yoga, uses spiritual and emotional meditation. Mantra Yoga, uses the repetition of mantras as its mayor force.

Now that you are well informed, pick up a yoga matt, get those yoga pants, breath in and out and head out to your nearest yoga center to become enlightend and is shape.
