I was born Ander the zodiac sign on Libra and according to an article I have just read I’m an indecisive person that needs balance in my life and in the gym I need to have more patience when waiting for the machines I’m so eager to get on and that I should practice a sport like boxing or judo..Well, aside from the boxing and judo part, which I would never even attempt, the rest is true.
I love to read things like this because it makes light of things we sometimes get too stressed out about such as going to the gym and staying in shape.

Everyday it becomes easier and easier to stay in shape with all the technology and advances in nutrition and diets we can’t complain that we don’t have any tools that help keep us healthy. Well, Google the mother of all internet tools has come up with yet another little program that will help keep you in check. It is called Google 15 and you can download it to your computer and start using it right away. All you need to do is input your actual weight, your desired weight, and then input your daily weight so you could see where you are at.
I know, you still need to exercise and stop eating, but remember I said this is a too to help you stay in check not to shape, that you need to do on your own, all this tool does is simply remind you everyday how you are doing weight wise.

Now you don’t even have to leave your house to exercise, first they invent the handy dandy DVD player in which you can purchase loads of yoga, aerobic or any other kind of exercise DVD’s so you can exercise in the comfort of your own home. But it looks like that is all passé now, people want more. And more is what Nintendo is offering with their new Wii games. These games not only offer you to imitate movements on a screen, no they offer more than that, now you can actually play tennis against your television.
All this is great but I think pretty soon we are going it start seeing a lot on unnecessary injuries from people who start playing these games not realizing it is actual exercise and they should not be doing it. Either way I think all this is pretty cool and this Christmas I plan to get one of these for my son (of course I will borrow it as much as I want)

The time is over, the alarm has just gone off and woke you up to find yourself in the heat of the summer. The diet that you followed all through the winter days did not help you in the least and now you find yourself with no choice but to wear a swimsuit in hopes no one will notice the few extra pounds you are carrying around. It is proven that losing weight is getting more and more difficult with the passage of time. In my 20’s I could eat all I wanted and not exercise and still manage to lose weight, in my 30’s I realized I needed to control my appetite a little bit and exercise moderately but now almost 40 I see that if I don’t exercise every single day and stop eating I’m not losing anything except my mind.
But, does this happen to you, the more I exercise the hungrier I’m, so then I eat more and basically all the exercise I have done evens out and I can’t lose weight.. but the other day I read and article that conducted a study of people who did exercise right after eating and even though they were hungry after they were done they were able to burn off more calories that those who did not exercise right after eating. So I guess there is still hope for me.
I will continue to eat and exercise and see what happens.

What joy to read this article about the benefits of beer and exercise. Two of my favourite things that until now I thought were not a good combination, imagine my surprise when I read that drinking beer after exercising is actually beneficial.
It seems some experts got together at the University of Granada, Spain to investigate if in reality are good to drink beer after sports. And the conclusions say yes, beer should be considered a great option for drinking after exercise right after water.
So, there you go, if this doesn’t motivate you to exercise I don’t know what will. I will surely look forward to a nice cold beer right after my strenuous workout.

The good weather has arrived in most parts of the world and we are already thinking about our bodies and how we could possibly fit back in to our swimsuit after so many long days of winter where the only thing we did was eat and eat some more (yes, that´s what I did)-
Well, the summer is the best time to take advantage and swim. Swimming is an excellent exercise that helps maintain your body is shape without the strain of an aerobic workout and with the same results. Swimming is considered an aerobic exercise an its practice helps improve your breathing and compared to other sports you could probably go longer than others without getting too workedup.
Like any other exercise you should consult your doctor to make sure that swimming is an appropriate exercise for you. If all goes well you will not only be in shape this summer but a little tan as well.

Our friends at fitsugar introduce us to a new style of exercise called ramping. Another fun way to stay in shape with the use of a little ramp. Looks like you would sweat your pants off, I like it.
I also love you don’t´need to go to the gym, you can order the ramp and the DVD´s and your are ready to go in the comfort of your own home.. you might want to invite a friend or two over though for some motivation.
