Olive Oil in beauty products

We are all in agreement that olive oil is an ingredient that contains many benefits when ingested but what happens when you apply it to your skin. If eating olive oil in good for you, I guess applying it to your skin has the same or better benefits.
That is why L´Occitane products that contain ingredients such as tomato and olive oil are something that really intrigued me and I just had to try them. I have very dry skin and any cream that promises to relieve me of my pains I strongly welcome. I bought the “Olive & Tomato Summer Recovery Kit” which includes a hand cream, a soap gel and a bar of soap. I took a shower with the gel and I must say my skin loved it, I felt a smooth sensation which I would have liked to complete with a body lotion which I hope they come out with soon. The hand cream is absolutely delicious as well.. good enough to eat.
