Each one of us has our own internal clock and if we have any changes to this in our lives, such as the recent time change, we could suffer biological consequences that could make us sick. I admit that my internal clock is a little off, I´m a night person and love to sleep in all morning long.. although I don´t get to do that as often as I like.

Cronobiology is a science that studies the biological functions of our bodies, being physical or emotional. Our body regulates itself according to precise cycles that are regulated by the biorhythms or our internal clock.

So what does all that mean? Well, this is how I see it.. We need to respect our internal clock because it is the boss, trying to change or modify our internal clock is asking for problems. Our body is very intelligent and knows what it needs, we need to stay alert and aware of what it is asking us for and make sure we are responding accordingly..
