We can´t stop time, although many of us would love to return to our youth, to be able to have our young tight skin soft as silk and our face free of impurities and bright like the sun..ahh.. those days are over (at least for me) and seem like they go by much faster day by day. Each day we wake up and it looks like we have more and more wrinkles and less and less elasticity in our bodies.
What can we do? Well, we can start by avoiding the sun and using sunscreen everyday, drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day, don´t smoke, but most important is our nutrition. A study of medical investigators found that wrinkles are influenced by the type of food we eat. A high consumption of vegetables, olive oil and fruits act as a barrier again the damage made to our skin as we age, while meat, dairy products, and sugary foods increase the damage.
Keeping this in mind, we should make sure we eat right daily so we could continue the aging battle and be able to return to our youthful state, or at least slow down the aging process.

What woman could dare say they don´t have cellulite? Well, very few because around 95 of 100 women of all ages and weight has this terrible and annoying problem. Cellulite is described by wikipedia as a dimpling of skin, caused by the protrusion of subcutaneous fat into the dermis creating an undulating dermal-subcutaneous fat junction adipose tissue . (pretty technical huh?) In reality we call it orange peal skin and it often presents itself in the buttocks, hips and abdomen and it could be very painful in some cases.
There is no cure for this unfortunate curse but if we try to live a healthy life free of stress (I know very difficult), a diet rich in fiber, daily exercise and overall drink plenty of water, we could begin to prevent and avoid cellulite. We also need to eliminate alcohol, tobacco, salt and coca cola type drinks (yes, impossible)
Nowadays we have the luck of having at our disposition several treatments that help us with our fight against cellulite such as lymphatic drainage, acoustic wave therapy and many more that are available from many beauty centers. We also have many over the counter creams that with daily use help maintain the affected skin look and feel better.
So don´t fret, start a new anti-cellulite regime today and start to feel your best.

What a find, I just came across a great new line of cosmetics and I´m glad I did. The ocean is the origin of life and with this concept Phytomer cosmetics has created these beauty treatments based on the elements found within the sea.
The first time I tried them I was very surprised at their natural approach and excellent concept. The moisturizers are rich in texture and leave your skin rejuvenated.
Their product line includes treatments for cellulite, stretchmarks, mature and dry skin, eye care and others that help our skin fight the first or advanced signs of aging.
My favorite part of these products is the smell which is enough to help you relax and purify us inside and out.

Red Tea, the best solution for losing weight? Well, maybe that and much more. The secret of the Chinese emperors is considered to be rule number one to obtain great health. With too many virtues to mention, this little home remedy might be what we are looking for when needing to shed those unwanted pounds.
Red Tea is naturally decaffeinated and has a great taste. It helps reduce cholesterol, detoxes and purifies, activating the liver metabolism, it helps with the digestion of fatty foods (this is what we are interested in) and it is also said to cure a bad mood.
You must drink at least 4 cups of red tea a day (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner); at the same time maintain a diet rich in vegetables and fruits, exercise and of course meditation to be able to obtain a mind free of stress.

Every person has goals and getting in shape is one of the hardest goals to achieve for some. When we start talking about exercise we don’t know where to start, what is the best type of exercise for us? There are two types of exercise we need to keep in mind when starting a exercise regimen, aerobic and anaerobic . .
The words aerobic and anaerobic refer to energy pathways that are utilized during exercise. Aerobic means “with oxygen” and anaerobic means “without oxygen”. Fat needs oxygen to burn completely so in order to burn fat during an exercise we need to move slowly and smoothly. This enables muscle cells to be supplied with enough oxygen to continue with its aerobic capacity and utilize fat as the main energy source. Anaerobic exercise requires moving at an increased pace or with greater effort. Exercising this way burns more calories but results in a greater demand for oxygen which cannot be delivered in sufficient quantities to allow cells to continue burning fat. When we breath heavy we start to develop an oxygen debt and muscle cells switch to burning mainly carbohydrates, this fuel burns quickly and does not require oxygen.
Each is necessary to maintain a well balanced routine, we need to combine a little of both, for example weight training and jogging, or swimming and tennis. Exercise programs like those of the Firm utilize both types of these trainings and the results are fabulous, I’m a true believer of the system. Everyone needs to consult their doctor before starting any time of new exercise regimen to make sure their bodies are able to cope with the all the changes exercise gives our bodies.
